TIMELINE:
3 Weeks
Before I got started on my posters, I first turned to Pinterest for some inspiration.
We were tasked with coming up with three different unique styles of posters on our own.
Group Type Posters
Within groups of 2-3, we then either combined ideas or worked on variations of some our individual posters to come up with more drafts. Eventually, we narrowed it down to finalized type poster which ended up being the yellow & blue one (right).
Type Specimen Booklet

ROLE:

As always, I got started with moodboarding on Pinterest before delving into this project.
Drafts
We were tasked to create two different variations. I made one version that utilized a lot of the outlined typo and type as a pattern itself, and another that was space-themed with more illustrations. Ultimately for my final piece I went with the space idea because it was more fun and a more fleshed out idea. Really the only changes I had to make from the draft to final submission was adding more to the back page and slightly altering the colors since I liked the gray-black of the other design better than the original navy-black.
